Harbor

When I was learning to use the view camera I acquired the habit of walking out early into the urban environment outside. It was quiet, the light was good, and the subject matter was rich. The Harbor series grew out of that practice and continues today. I like the sense of potential of these places, and the scale of their technologies. It's the feeling of the wild ocean come to my feet.
