Random House Paint Spills – Home Depot Parking Lots / New Jersey

For the past year one of my personal projects has been documenting many random paint and construction materials that have unexpectedly spilled at Home Depot parking lots. Home Depot is a hardware and home building supply chain in the United States. This random documentations takes on a Jackson Pollack style but I am fascinated at how unique each one takes on a creative identity. I continue to work on this project, and as I visit my favorite locations, I recognize the accidental renderings which I have already photographed and am curious as to how the paint spills weather over time. When I find new spills, there is a bit of – Oh my, there is a new one! Frank Schramm / October 2021
