As I find I have limited time, my concept was to photograph everyday life and its spontaneity from my car. The car offered an invisibility and the excitement that each corner could bring as a new pallet to create. A drive thru Manhattan, Newark or wherever, becomes an adventure.
Being stuck in traffic gave me time to compose or watch the “protagonist “ vs. the "antagonist" enter the frame. Sometimes I could see the converging counter balances coming together, intercepting zones. Other times it was one shot hit or miss. Sometimes the car in back beeped its horn. The radio played kool jazz.
I always have my camera, sometimes shooting 100 + pix on excursions before the work of editing. These 10 photographs represent over a decade of “Shot from the Car”.
