The Late Great Danbury State Fair

I grew up in Danbury CT from 5th grade thru High School. The Great Danbury State Fair was a yearly exhibition. It began in 1821 and the last one was in 1981. The city schools had a "Fair" Holiday on the last Friday of the fair's 10 day run each year. I went there as a student every year I lived in Danbury. After attending The Photography School at The School of Visual Arts in NY City, I decided to go back each year to the Fair and photograph it on it's 10 day run. I did so for the last 10 years, on and off, until it closed in 1981. I have always wanted to publish what I photographed, and never did. I have displayed them on Face Book now and again, but that's it.
