In the streets and on the roads of Benin Republic, West Africa

Photography for me is a passion whose magic lies in everyday scenes. Photography brings me closer to human things and beings. The street for me is my own mirror. It's my only way to see myself again: child, teenager, young adult. From the children who are playing football, barefoot, in Porto-Novo, to the Zémidjan, moto taxi driver, who is taking a nap on his motorbike in Cotonou, I find myself in all these shots. Most of the pictures submitted for this contest are taken by me between 2017 and 2019.
