To destroy something completely turns out to be easier than we thought. It only took a year or two to turn every building on a street into rubble, before constructing an entire complex of high rise buildings standing close to each other. I took a stroll in this once familiar area but could barely recognize a thing. I began to wonder if this could be the last chance in my life to truly take a good look at this place. This thought made me utterly sad but extremely joyous at the same time. This walk was as precious as how the deceased earned one last chance to revisit the world they once lived in. This is where I was born, this is what I would think of even at the moment of my own death. I have to continue moving, so my steps could land on every inch of the area to recollect fragments of my memory.
