We fly to destinations and if we like window seats, we observe what's below us. The fabric of farmland, the mountains, lakes, streams, the roads out in the middle of nowhere we wish we could drive on and know where they go. The temptation to shoot them from a plane is enormous. The outcome is often dismal. After years of trying, I have crafted this collection that uses the foundation of landscape as seen from the air to portray a kind of netherworld. We think we know it, but we're not sure.
