The Brooklyn Experience

I left Brooklyn in the mid 1980's after graduating from Pratt. Recently I've returned with my camera and started documenting the changes. Williamsburg in particular has gone through a transformation from a ratty downtrodden neighborhood to becoming the next SoHo. Reclaimed wood and repurposed metal is the trending decor of the hip new restaurants and shops. The streets are splashed with murals and graffiti and the million dollar view of Manhattan will be forever it's gold mine.
