Slices

Each day on this beautiful planet is a blessing. We are fortunate to experience pain, sadness, happiness, anguish, gratitude and love as human beings trying to manage in this insane world. It's a tough time for the world as a whole. Slices examines the beauty of ehe everyday. Do we appreciate these moments? For me taking photographs of slices of life is a way to cope with the brutalities of the world. Call it escapism because that's exactly what it is. It's pure fantasy. Shooting only with my iphone and using apps as my darkroom I'm taking the idea of artifice to manifest a world in which I want to exist.
