I was very lucky to be gifted a Ricoh 35 mm point and shoot this year by my girlfriend, who has been taking photos for a while now. I have shot four rolls of film since then, starting in July. I then switched to black and white film for my third roll, due to the shortage of colour film, and also to experiment.
I find it really interesting to isolate tonal values and think about composition on the spot. I think that probably the only thoughts going through my head when I take a photograph are 'wow, look at that' or 'that'd make a great photo'.
I took these 5 photos in August and September whilst in Ireland and Scotland. I was so excited to have them developed. I hope you enjoy looking at them.
