The Beheld

The relationship between the photographer and the photographed is perhaps one of the most interesting relationships in the world. Much more so when the photographer is a stranger to the photographed. This series represents the responses of little ones to someone they don’t know. I might have looked at these photographs a hundred times and yet still touched by these brief encounters, where these children gave me their most direct and candid responses through the look in their eyes.
