"The Bridge"

This is a black and white study of one of several bridges that connects Charleston, SC with the outer world. Since its construction in 2005, the Ravenel Bridge has established itself as a feat of modern day engineering and architecture. My intent is to document the bridge through the visual study of its flow of lines, the shadow play across the structural features, and the repetition of geometric forms that are found throughout.
