The Isle of Sheppey is a small island based off the Kent coast. It has a rich history as an important part of the UK but often feels left behind and incredibly isolated.
Sceapige is the old-English word that the island's name is derived from. It means sheep island. Sceapige is a project that looks to document the natural beauty of the island and the loneliness that can come from living there. Although it is not physically separate from the rest of the UK, with two bridges granting access to and from mainland Kent, it is hard not to feel a separation once you are there.
