Lotus Pond – A Photographic Study

This photographic study attempts to describe in images the complete yearly cycle of the Sacred Lotus, whose blossoms appear each summer in an old mill waterworks along Boston Neck Road near the Village of Hamilton, Rhode Island. I believe the monochrome images allow the viewer to see past the splash of color, for a deeper appreciation of the wonders of nature's meditative elegance and beauty.
