Passenger / Iceland

The photos in this mini project tap into a subconscious awareness of surroundings as we move through them. The idea; to ’see’ a composition as it comes into view while in a moving vehicle and acting to capture what’s intended as it passes by. Somehow it’s futile and pointless but acknowledges photography’s greater goal and deeper need to connect with and keep that which is fleeting. Beyond this the project ties in with the visual language that I am drawn to, that of not just observer but outsider looking in (or in this case looking out).
