This project was conceived to show how trees are used in an agricultural context, by planting them individually or in rows, to order to prevent wind from eroding the fertile upper layers of the soil.
In winter you often find magical conditions when the landscape turns itself into a minimalist wonderland brought on by fog and low-hanging clouds. This minimalism highlights the trees and the blankets of snow covering the soil further offering protection against erosion. This project started around my hometown in the middle of Germany. Due to the lack of snow recently, I had to extend my scope into southern Germany and away from trees.
