Landscape - as an important, inseparable and indispensable element of our reality, triggers emotions in us: a sense of beauty, joy, reverie, longing for a lost paradise, etc. As a biologically important element for the preservation of the species - landscape affects our subconscious even through its single components. The sight of basic elements that have been preserved in the collective human consciousness for hundreds of years is a signal sufficient to trigger a number of feelings, memories and imaginations. A set of minimal fragments of the landscape: the horizontal line of the horizon, the vertical lines of trees, the sinusoid or the parabola, the undulations of the land plane - through their multiple and the tensions between them - becomes a code. This code also contains a record of laborious efforts of man to reorganize his own environment. A man who, using the great heritage of the earth, seized all environments.
In fact, most of the works from the "Minimal Landscape" series are fragments of stones or earth photographed from a close distance. Sometimes crumbling and scratched plaster on the wall, a single branch or a tuft of grass, which imitate, for example, a vast panorama of the forest. Perhaps our future is just such imitations - a substitute and an excuse to remember the natural landscape, which is disappearing at an alarming rate.
