My photograph needed a title; it would not pass as a view of Cape Town sky, although this was just what I saw. The delicate balance between nature and the human-made world as it appeared to me at that moment in time and space: 07:19:59 AM. On the balcony, the cast-iron tabletop bears evidence of gentle night rain. Urban clouds reflect within the rain puddle and from the glass facade of the adjacent building, creating a mirrored image. Nature opens up a space for humans to live.
