Ethiopian tribal life

The work submitted is a reflection of tribes people or some of the ethnic groups reflective of life in Ethiopia. Many of these people are inextricably connected to the land and lifestyles, until recently, have remained largely unchanged. These photos have tried to encapsulate a few portraits and images of these people 'in situ' and prior to the tsunami of change wrought by government acculturation, the extension of road transport, communication networks, unsustainable tourism, agribusiness and the inexorable spread of missionaries. All submissions are in monochrome.
