Yılkı Horses & Cowboys

Horses are one of the noblest creatures on earth, witnessing the most important events in history. These creatures stand out with their strength, noble stance and weakness for freedom. The horses in the photo are Yılkı horses. The Yılkı horse is a type of horse seen in Anatolia. Yılkı horse was used to express only one kind of horse in the past, but now the word Yılkı is a synonym for the word horse and means the whole of horses, without any distinction between horses. These Yılkı horses, which were members of a certain species in ancient times, roamed in herds in nature and could not be domesticated. Since the Yılkı horses, which constantly changed their positions, roamed in herds, they were not easily prey to other wild animals in nature. Since Yılkı horses live in this way independently and in a unique way, when it is called Yılkı horse, horses called wild horses are also meant today.
