I'm Azzurra Primavera and I’m a portrait photographer.
On summer 2020 I spent 45 days inside Ninfa's garden, in Lazio country not far away from Rome, I got the privilege to be Fondazione Caetani's guest.
During all 45 days, all days i photographed the garden, in particularly the reflection of the nature inside the water of Ninfa's river.
Here, just 5 pics, the photos are simple. I decided to turned them upside down so the reflected image becomes the real one and the real becomes unreal, the borders vanish and becoming almost an impressionist painting.
NINFA, in the Pontine plain, is a centuries-old garden created by numerous members of an ancient dynasty that has been extinct for a few decades: the Caetani of Sermoneta. Crossed by the icy waters of the river Ninfeo and sculpted by medieval ruins and monumental English roses, Ninfa never ceases to amaze. The Caetani family has dominated the territory of Ninfa since the end of the 200, weaving its history with this ancient city that has become a garden. It is the only living thing that remains of a family that has distinguished itself for culture, intelligence and love for nature. https://www.giardinodininfa.eu
