re/Construction 2022

     The works are a collaboration between Ying Chen & Michael James O'Brien. Ying Chen is a digital artist specializing in constructed collage. Michael James O'Brien is a photographer specializing in conceptual portraiture. Ying went into Michael's analogue archive, took the images apart & put them back together. The project is inspired by the history of collage and surrealism.
