This project is an intimist documentary work. I do a reflection about the pass of time through the attachment that I have built with my uncle Jose Antonio. I reflect about the human condition, the innocence and lost of goodness in the adulthood. It is a stroll through the memory from the margins. When listening our conversations I explore the boundaries in between reality and fiction and I create a fantastic and visual consciousness.
Jose Antonio is 75 year old and he is a person with an uncatalogued diverse functionality. In the last years, I have been observing how his behaviour has changed. He has become a shy person. I have identified moments when he has experienced emotions that have blocked him possibly caused by situations of too much external control or maybe it could be the pass of time, and the consequences that this has had in his body, like his low mobility or blindness.
My aim is to give a true perspective to dependency and I make clear that the most important thing that we all need is the emotional support and the alliance with others. I flee from patterns where otherness is socially situated, portraying him as active subject of his life without dispossessing him from his personality, his gestures or his thoughts.
Milk tooth has a healing mission. In this whole process we have developed a better emotional expression and we have been able to increase our happiness and freedom within the conditions that each of us have to face in life.
