Lucent Daydreams

I have worked underwater in Dallas area pools for over 20 years. This series, completed in 2022, deals with the photographic concept of frames and space. I have always been influenced by "The Poetics of Space" by Gaston Bachelard (subtitled The Classic Look at How We Experience Intimate Places). My work has consistently addressed color and light which are uniquely manifested underwater. The finished prints are large scale and framed.
