Siblings, self-portraits

First three images: I took a series of portraits of my siblings during my last visit home. Portraits can reflect your relationship with the subject, and so I prefer to work with models that I know well. Siblings (especially from a large family) often have a very special connection that is very close, with no boundaries or formalities. Adult siblings are a particularly interesting subject because of the genetic similiarities but differences due to taste and lifestyle that develop over time. I wanted to capture this. I entered these images in the catagory "single images" because of the differences in composition, editing and mood in the images. The last two images are part of a series of self-portraits combined with absurdity to create an atmosphere or feeling.
