Air Roots

The photographs in the “Air Roots” series address the dissolution of existing polar systems of order in a possible future. In these images, the boundaries between nature, humans and technology become blurred. The real and the virtual, the analogue and the digital, the organic and the synthetic merge into confusing hybrid systems, into an intermediate realm in which interdependencies and permeability seem to dissolve all categories.
