It was early in June, 2011. The air was warm and humid and summer break had just started. Seventeen year old Felicia Grimmenhag drove her moped in the neighborhood of her home in Bålsta.
At a crossroad, a speeding car hit her and changed her life forever. The violent collision left Felicia unconscious on the ground with both lungs collapsed and a cardiac arrest. The doctors managed to revive her, but the damage to her body was too severe. They had to amputate both her legs above the knees.
After two months at the hospital Felicia decided to go back to high school. She wanted to continue her teenage life. To finish high school and graduate together with her friends.
