We all carry a world inside that we don't talk about. It's often about bitter experiences of life that we don't want to get back to or sublime joy that we cannot express or subconscious abstractions that we don't know enough to articulate.
Once in a while however, certain patterns or combinations strike us - the world inside starts to come alive. Henr-Cartier Bresson had once said that discovering patterns and shades and putting them in the right places in the frame is an intellectual pleasure. I thought what he meant was when the desired combination fell into place around the subject, it actually became a reflection of a part of his own mind - the world inside.
These few images are such street corner combinations for me which give voice to the world inside.
