The human figure is rare in my images, while continuing these metropolitan itinerances, in 2017 I approach the portrait. "Sketching a path, portraits of itineraries" is articulated around the reflection. This photographic line sketches a body outline. The meeting linked to the itinerancy grants a passage to furtive closings. Intertwined with displacements, it is also viscerally a belief in the living. To take the wandering as it presents itself, the path is unknown. I look at the images, there is a bending of the gaze, they draw the portrait of a metropolis. Whether physical or mental the edges that distinguish and separate them in this journey to the edges of the city take on another form, porosity of borders, redefining the contours with the diptych is an upheaval in the imagination as I explore the frames of perception, there are images, sounds, stories. In December 2019, an artist's book of this series is the third work.
The desire to capture these reflections with a cell phone has allowed these images to emerge. I observe another landscape, I try to seize traces of it. Contemplative device, the photographic image receives the reflections of these glimpsed faces, ephemeral mirror, gleams and flashes of history, the bodies express the diversities of our metropolis.
