ONIRO is a personal project inspired by the Greek mythological propensity in wanting to personify the phenomena of nature and the soul (anthropomorphism).
Even the phenomenon of dreams, inexplicable and mysterious manifestation of the unconscious, receives its own identification as already narrated by Homer in the two greatest epic poems of Greek literature, the Iliad and the Odyssey:
Oniro, a nuncio sent from Olympus to mortals, communicates divine wishes and advice to them in his sleep.
Throughout history, various mythographers and poets have emphasized the implicit recognition of the prophetic value of the Dream, representing it with symbolic attributes such as the white robe for daytime dreams or black for nocturnal ones, as well as various characteristics such as lightness and heterogeneity.
