Burning Paris

I was in Paris at the height of the protests against the new pension reform in France. My hotel was not far from the Opera Garnier, one of the hotspots of the riots. I could hear the police sirens and smell the burning garbage but didn't know what was going on. So i turned on the tv but all i got to see due to bad reception were impressionistic paintings of what was happening outside - Paris is art.
