Blackland

The beauty of sound is in its silence, but what lays in silence is a mystery. Sound is the basic vocabulary, without it, laughs, screams even music are lifeless. So is blackness to light. These photos were taken in a place called "Qurnat As Sawdaa", the highest peak in Lebanon, it is deserted where no voice can be heard. The relation between the lack of sound and the lack of light are translated metaphorically in the photos. As the silence of sound, is as alive as the music of the universe, darkness is as striking as light which is the cause and the effect.
