Sense of Place

I created the series “Sense of Place” after my visit to Schloss Freudenberg near Frankfurt. The place had a sense of magic, a touch of peaceful timelessness. Through vision, effort, persistence and ingenuity of people, the destructive laws of time seemed to have been suspended. The quiet corridors, dark corners, rooms sparsely filled with intriguing objects, whispers and muted laughter, all seamlessly wove into a feeling I wanted to preserve.
