The clan in Izumo had big power with ancient bronze ware culture, but was merged with the Yamato, which was ruled by the clan headed by the ancestor of current imperial family, in the about fourth century. Izumo Taisha Shrine which was erected to quiet a grudge of the cruelly treated clan at the power transfer. October is called the “Kannaduki (month when gods or spirits don’t exist)” generally, but it is said “Kamiariduki (month when gods or spirits exist)” in Izumo where gods and spirits scattered to the whole country gathers during the month. There are various myth staged in this area.
