The Sixth Borough

Jersey City New Jersey resides across the Hudson River overlooking lower Manhattan. The City has been trying to brand itself as the sixth borough which has caused a rapid re-development over the past 15 years. Jersey City now has some of the highest rents in the country and many locals are being priced out. These photographs are a part of an ongoing series documenting these changes.
