Abre La Boca

For most of my life, I have lived by the motto, “Abre la boca, para que te escuchen”. It means, open your mouth, if you want to be heard. Abre La Boca, focuses on moments where people have said “enough is enough! We are tired of being treated as though we don’t matter. We are here and we will be heard!” This series gives a voice to those who have felt silenced by a cisgender, heterosexual, white, male-dominated society.
