In some corners of the planet, much closer than we imagine, people's lives are spent in an intimate relationship with the plant world. In San Miguel Tlaxcaltepec, Amealco, Querétaro, the ancestral inheritance and the convictions of a young woman show us that, even in the dry season, crop is a place of protection. I met Ángeles through her participation in the community committee of The Native Corn and Milpa Fair, these are the results of the work we have done over 6 months, between September 2022 and February 2023 within the framework of the Incentive Program for the Creation and Artistic Development of Querétaro 2022.
