Parc Montholon

I was inspired by my recent visit to the Parc Montholon in the 9th arrondissement of Paris, France. The charming neighborhood vibe reflected time with friends, family, and children at play. For several days I walked my dog in this neighborhood and noticed by 4:00PM mothers, fathers, nannies, and neighbors all rushed to the park to let their kids and dog’s play. Neighbors socialized at the park, in the middle of the street, and at the local corner bistro. One street was intentionally blocked off so families could gather. There was a large red trailer that was full of games and tables and chairs for families to play board games in the middle of the street. I was much more inspired to capture the laissez faire of this community than photographing famous historical sites in the most romantic city.
