When people ask me what kind of pictures I make, the answer is difficult because what usually draws me to a scene or subject is usually the light. Most often, my photographs can be considered either landscapes or still lifes. I am fascinated by the way light affects the world around me. most often, I don't see specific objects but rather the highlights and shadows created by the light. These pictures are a case in point, even though some were made with the sun directly overhead, it is the highlights and shadows that form the lines, shapes and colors that form the images.
