600 is a series of Polaroids converging at the intersection of material impermanence, temporality and decay. By manipulating the Polaroid’s inherent sensitivities—light, temperature, and handling—through a string of interventions, processes of decay are simultaneously accelerated and slowed down, disrupting and affecting the material and aesthetic development of the photograph.
Through these interventions, 600 examines the photograph as a living, responsive material through synchronised process of formation and disintegration.
