The Malecón is one of the most iconically photographed locations in Cuba. It's the hub of Cuban culture. Fishing, watching classic cars, dodging waves, and watching the sunset. When I started this journey there would be dozens and dozens of fisherman along the sea wall, since 2022 they have sevirly dwindled. From what I understand the fish are gone. I love the stories that the Malecón tells, I hope the fishing returns and I hope that these images aren't a story from the past
