This project portrays diverse perspectives in lives of the elderlies, which is a subject matter that receives little attention within Vietnam’s fast-moving society nowadays, where young people are more regularly in the spotlight.
Through the photographs taken right in the context of familiar living environments of the subjects, not only do I depict the seniors' portraits, but furthermore propose a space for viewers to contemplate those daily routines, activities that vividly light up their lives.
To the elderlies, the quality and meaning of life in the senior age are even more important than how much time left they have. My work is like a bridge between two generations, where audiences can recall seemingly forgotten memories, and sense the vibrant flow of life through the story of each person I am fortunate to meet.
