With the start of the imposed war between Iran and Iraq in1980, murals of martyrs found a special place in Iran. The murals portraying concepts of gallantry, dedication, sacrifice and courage could be seen on walls of different towns all over the country.
Now, 27 years after the end of the war, murals are still created on walls of cities to keep memory of the national heroes alive, because Iran owes its today’s peace and security to its heroes’ sincere fight.
By taking advantage of Multiple Exposure Technique, After 27 Years Collection, attempts to show the relation of the martyrs with peoples’ lives and the current peace and security prevalent in the society.
