The Village Voice

All photos in this collection were taken on one summer day (August 27, 2022) in the West Village, mostly in the area surrounding Washington Square. It could well be the most vibrant place in America, where thousands of human voices blend seamlessly into one urban chorus without losing their distinct cadences. It is not surprising then that its storied weekly had no use for the plural form and was simply called The Village Voice. E pluribus unum, indeed!
