Photography has helped me to look differently at my surrounding. Through the past years, especially during the pandemic, hitting the streets with my camera has taught me to appreciate every single moment of daily life.
Moments that involved people, and their behavior, sometimes surprising and shocking, but at times also very funny. In a world of polarization, photography also helps me to connect with and remain hopeful about human beings. We are a bunch of funny creatures and every individual is a Superhuman in itself.
So whether old or young, whatever their religion, sexual preference, or background, I love capturing moments on the streets, the connection between people and place, documenting life while all happening in front of me.
I wish my eyes could take pictures, capture moments and situations that spark positivity and bring a smile to your face.
I hope I can inspire you to look around more and to keep on exploring the world you live in, whether big or small. Pay attention to your fellow citizen, get to know him or her, and exchange a smile. A positive connection is what this world needs most, so go and look for that public bench. Enjoy!
Best,
Robin Cox
