Paris in Spring

I made these photographs on a trip to Paris. Shooting only on film, I wanted to try and capture a portrait of the city, the colour, energy and character that make it so unique - especially at this time of year. I wanted to express some of the romance and sense of joie de vivre that flows through the city. And most of all I wanted to capture the little moments of joy, happiness, surprise and serendipity that weave themselves together across the city every day, to form a collection of inimitable stories that are the fabric of Paris itself.
