Double City

This project is my attempt to humanize Washington, D.C. The political arena often dominates the narrative surrounding the nation’s capital. Stereotypical images of power hungry politicians give an impression that the District is a serious and dark place full of evildoer’s and over achievers. My work aims to add a second D.C. narrative to our country’s collective consciousness, one that shows a lighter side amidst the tumultuous backdrop -- a place where ordinary people live their lives, unperturbed by the federal shadow.
