Metropolitan Lonely Men

7 days in Tokyo (25.04.2023 - 01.05.2023). These photos are part of a larger project in progress. The Megalopolis of the Rising Sun is an incredible city full of fascinating contradictions. The multitude of people who populate and traverse it on a daily basis disorientates, at times almost making one run out of air. Yet between the folds of the din of sounds, images and legs moving swiftly, a closer look reveals them, men in solitude. Surrounded by emptiness or immersed among others, it makes no difference. The metropolitan man gets his moment of well-deserved solitude. In perfect adherence to their own tradition, in contradiction to everything around them.
