Landmarks without borders make us undefined and included in a disorienting emotional journey.
Trees, rivers, mountains, walls, roofs, people. The physical limits of the world around us have inherently conditioned our mental structure, and make impossible for us to imagine an empty space, without borders, where everything is possible.
That's the reason why, faced with the freedom of choice and in front of the innumerable life's paths, an insurmountable paradox arises: to choose clearly we need a state of mind of calm and peaceful, but the only path that we know to obtain it is precisely the building of the limits within which to live, which make our life simpler and more practicable. It's the feeling of being free in a cage: it's freedom that denies itself. But freedom is also this, it is loss. Potentiality and constraint. Exaltation and incompleteness.
How to get out? Between the choices that make us feel free and lost at the same time and the boundaries that give us back a simple and limiting life, I dare say "small", human being remains constantly lost and indefinite.
