Tales of the Laundromat
Over the course of the past two and a half years, while traveling the open road, this collection of laundromats has blossomed into an ongoing project of hundreds of images captured of washers, dryers, and the people who rely on them.
Within these photographs lies the essence of communal spaces, where countless narratives unfold. They serve as windows into the lives of ordinary yet extraordinary individuals, ranging from regulars to busy mothers and budget-conscious college students.
My intention through this body of work is to offer a glimpse into the artistry that permeates an everyday chore. These photographs reveal the beauty and significance that can be found within the simplest of routines.
